35x35cm – Mörda bilar, hata data. Mosaic paving stone.

Since 2022, the anonymous Malmö artist 35×35cm has been replacing ordinary paving stones with handmade mosaics. Each is made for its spot: social comment, politics, cultural references or small observations of life in Malmö.

Around a hundred have appeared across the city. Many were removed by the authorities for lacking permits. That grey zone is the point.

Who decides what belongs in shared space, and who gets to shape a city?

The works here were once in the street. Removed, rescued and shown again, they keep asking the same questions.
